NEET PG 2024 Correction Window Opened

NEET PG 2024: Correction Window (Opened), Registration, Exam Date (June 23), Syllabus, Pattern

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has opened an edit window for NEET PG 2024 to all the successfully registered candidates. The edit window of NEET PG 2024 is provided in two phases. In the first phase, candidates can edit their information in the application form, except name, nationality, email, mobile number and test city. In the second phase, candidates can edit their photograph, signature and thumb impression. A direct link for the NEET PG 2024 correction window is provided here.

NEET PG 2024 correction/edit window link is activated at nbe.edu.in. The last date to edit the application is May 16. You can edit your NEET PG 2024 application form by logging into your portal from the official website. You are allowed to edit any details except your name, email address, nationality, mobile number and test center.

  • One year internship must be completed by August 15, 2024. 
  • NEET PG 2024 exam is scheduled for June 23 in a single shift from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.  

NEET PG exam comprises 200 questions to be attempted in 3 hours and 30 minutes. Each question is assigned 4 marks taking the total marks to 800. As per the revised pattern, there will be a sectional time limit to complete the test. In order to qualify NEET PG exam, you need to secure the minimum qualifying marks released by NBE along with the result. On an average, NEET PG cut off marks range between 280-295 for general category and 245-260 for the reserved categories.

For admission based on NEET PG 2024 scores, you have to participate in the online counselling conducted by MCC for 50% All India seats for MD/ MS/ Diploma courses. For the remaining 50% seats in government colleges and 100% seats in private colleges, you need to participate in the state quota counselling conducted by each state separately. In case of central and deemed universities, 100% admissions are through NEET PG counselling by MCC.

NEET PG edit window 2024: How to make corrections?

Candidates must follow the below mentioned steps to edit details in the application form through NEET PG correction window.

Go to the official website of NBE: nbe.edu.in

Navigate to the ‘NEET PG’ exam tab

Click on the ‘Applicant Login’

Enter your user ID and password

Then, click on ‘Go to application form’

The NEET PG application form, containing all the necessary details, will be displayed on the screen

Edit the required details and review all sections for accuracy

Click on ‘Save and Next’ after completing each section

At last, click on ‘Save and Submit’

The NEET PG application form with the modified details will be displayed on the screen.

NEET PG exam pattern 2024: Highlights

Candidates wishing to appear for the postgraduate medical entrance examination must understand the NEET 2024 PG exam pattern before beginning to prepare strategies for the entrance exam preparation. The important details about the NEET PG pattern are given in the points below.

NEET PG 2024 exam date and mode: NBE has announced the NEET PG 2024 exam date on their official website. The medical postgraduate examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode however, the NEET PG exam date 2024 is June 23.

NEET PG 2024 exam language: The NEET PG 2024 exam will be conducted in the English language only.

NEET PG exam time duration: The candidates will have to answer the NEET PG 2024 question paper within 3 hours and 30 minutes. This timing of 3 hours and 30 minutes will be divided into sectional timing for each section.

Types of questions with NEET PG marks distribution: NEET PG 2024 will consist of multiple-choice questions and the maximum marks are 800.

Total number of questions: As per the NEET PG exam pattern, the question paper will carry a total of 200 questions.

Number of questions from each section: The NEET PG 2024 question paper will be divided into three sections. Candidates will have to answer a total of 200 multiple-choice questions.

NEET PG Syllabus: As per the exam pattern of NEET PG 2024, the syllabus for the examination will include Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects from the MBBS curriculum.
